THE WORLD FINEST COTTON // SUPIMA COTTON

Not all cottons are created equally. Supima cotton is a superior type of cotton grown in the United States and represents less than 1% of cotton grown in the world. But what really separates Supima from other cottons is its extra-long staple fiber which underpin its premium properties: strength, softness and color-retention.

Luxury, quality and craftsmanship are the benchmarks of American-grown, extra-long staple cotton.

Supima is twice as strong as regular cotton, which makes for extraordinarily resilient products. The longer fiber resists pulling, breaking and tearing, resulting in fashion and home products that are incredibly resilient and keep their form for a longer-lasting product.

Supima cotton is referred to as the “cashmere under the cotton”, because of its outstanding softness. That’s why our garments are durable essentials and not just something you wear.

Supima is inherently softer and more luxurious due to its extra-long staple fiber. The length of the fiber produces smoother, cleaner yarns that result in a softer fabric that resists pilling. This means that our products feel sumptuously soft and only get softer as time passes. Supimas’ finer fibers absorb dye with a deep, long-lasting penetration. The result is an article with significantly better color-retention than regular cottons. Supima products keep their brilliance wash after wash, giving you many years of use.

GOTS CERTIFICATED ORGANIC COTTON

With today’s sustainability challenges and the contribution of the fashion and textile industry, we must collectively rethink how textiles are made and used. Organic fibers play multifaceted roles in creating an industry that actively lowers its environmental impact and prioritizes human health over short term profit.

Textile garments carrying the GOTS label must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibers, a garment with the label grade “organic” must contain a minimum of 95% certified organic fibers.

Organic fibers are natural fibers grown using neither synthetic pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides nor GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms) according to the principles of organic agriculture. Organic agriculture is a production process that sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people.
